Help Jacinta Heal—She Needs to Get Home
Jacinta “Jaci” Zimmerman is in a medical crisis no one saw coming.
While traveling, her appendix ruptured. By the time surgeons operated on April 15, more than 24 hours had passed—allowing infection to spread throughout her body. She now has a surgical drain in place and is on intense, debilitating antibiotics as her body fights to recover.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Her CT scan revealed additional, serious concerns that now require urgent, in-depth testing and scans.
Just days ago, Jaci was working full-time and supporting herself. There was no warning. Overnight, everything changed. She cannot work, cannot function normally, and the costs are quickly mounting.
Because this happened away from home, her insurance coverage is uncertain. She needs to get back to Nebraska—back to her doctors and covered care—but right now she’s stuck: too sick to travel, too far from home, and without income.
Jaci is also a survivor of severe domestic violence, having endured repeated blunt force trauma to her abdomen and back, making these new findings even more urgent and concerning. She is still carrying financial strain from that chapter of her life, and this crisis has only added to the weight.
She has already fought battles most never will. Now she needs help.
Your support will help cover:
• Emergency medical expenses
• Travel back to Nebraska
• Critical testing and treatment
• Basic living expenses while she cannot work
If you can give, thank you.
If you can’t, please share.
And please keep Jaci in your prayers as she fights to heal and faces what comes next.
She has carried enough.
Let’s help carry this with her.
