Help Jacey fight her battle with cancer

To know Jacey is to love Jacey. She’s the sunshine in every room, the ear always willing to listen, the contagious laugh even at bad jokes. She has been an avid member of the community since the day she moved here - having previously owned her own at-home daycare (loving yours and your friends children just like her own), starting mom/womens groups in the community to offer support, and of course the face behind every single Community wide garage sale (the most recent one she did while facing the hardest news of her life) As a woman willing to do anything and everything for someone she loves, she needs you now to do the same for her.

Some of you may already know, and some may not, but 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer.

I had my first apt with my oncologist today and it was not the news we were hoping for. My cancer has spread to 3 different locations throughout my body making it a stage 4 cancer. There are no long term plans for me because of how advanced it has spread. Surgery is not an option due to how many locations and how many tumors there are, radiation is pointless because it is used to prep for surgery.

I will be starting chemotherapy in 2 weeks that will likely result in hair loss and a few other side effects. This treatment will remain in place for the rest of my "life". Although my prognosis is not good, I am a fighter, and I will continue to fight for a better outcome. The reality is I will always have cancer, but it doesn't mean I have to let it beat me.
