My name is Sunil Samuel and I am creating this fundraiser for a little child named Jabez (7 years old), who has been diagnosed with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). VSD is a congenital heart condition caused by a hole in the wall that separates the heart’s lower chambers. In Jabez's case, the defect is significant enough to require urgent surgery. Without it, he faces serious complications including heart failure and damage to his lungs. Apparently, (from what I understand talking to his father) this child has two holes. According to the doctors, one hole will close by itself while the other requires surgery.

The family comes from a Christian household in a small village in Kerala, India, and does not have health insurance to cover the cost. Due to his condition, this child has chronic asthma (see detail below).

I will add additional details once I receive them from his father. The family is struggling to cover daily costs.

There are two additional children in the family, one younger and the other older. We can help get this family back on their feet. If you are able to donate, please do so. But please share with others so that we can all help.
