Please Help J. from Abington Purchase a Used Car to Get to Work

J., who is our neighbor in Abington, reached out to me for help but asked to remain anonymous.

Asking for help is difficult for her because she is used to being independent.

She has been through a lot and has been homeless for a while, but with assistance might be getting into an apartment soon. (UPDATE: She has moved into an apartment!) She has a job, but is looking to buy a used car to get her there reliably and has found one for $2,500. Currently, she has to take the train and a bus, and sometimes they are unreliable. We know that our Abington community (and all of the neighboorhoods and communities around us) is amazing, so let’s work together to help so that she can secure money for a car, and if any extra is raised it will be used to continue to pay for the apartment and basic needs.
