Help Izzy Rose Heal After Amputation

Hi! My doggie Izzy Rose has been going through it. About 3 weeks ago her toenail broke in half and we took her to the vet. They gave her a cortisone shot to see if that would address the swelling and it did not. She got her toe amputated on Thursday (5/1 $369) and we noticed last night that her bandages were smelling AWFUL because they got wet from the rain. The vet instructed us to remove the bandages to check for signs of an infection and there were none. I called this morning to schedule a follow up and then when I got home from work today I discovered that Izzy had been messing with her paw and now the bone is exposed. We are currently at the hospital and the fee just to be seen is $189 and we’re not even sure if they can help. They said we might have to take her to a surgeon to have additional amputation done if they aren’t able to close it. Any help is so appreciated. I just need my doggie to be okay. :(

update: the hospital gave Izzy antibiotics anti inflammatories, and pain meds. They are wrapping her foot up again and told us to take Izzy back to the vet asap in the morning so she can most likely have another surgery. total hospital bill is $738.
