Our cat Izzy has been part of our family since she was just 8 weeks old. She’s grown up with us, always by our side, and has become my wife’s shadow and my best friend. Recently, Izzy was diagnosed with diabetes, and things took a sudden turn for the worse when she went into diabetic ketosis. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where she was hospitalized and received intensive care to stabilize her condition. It’s been an incredibly stressful and emotional time for us, watching Izzy fight through this health crisis and not knowing what the future holds.

The costs for Izzy’s care have been overwhelming. Her ER and hospital bill for just one day covers her central line, diagnostic imaging, and testing. We want to do everything we can to give Izzy the best chance at recovery and bring her home to us and her sister Zoey. We have been told she is stabilizing well and they expect her to make a full recovery. They said we were lucky to have caught it so early. She means the world to our family, and seeing her in the hospital has been heartbreaking.
