Izzy isn’t just a horse — she’s a healer.

As one of the beloved therapy horses at Friends of Seaton Hackney, Izzy has spent years patiently supporting children and adults with physical, emotional, and developmental challenges. With her calm presence and gentle spirit, she helps riders build confidence, strength, and trust — often during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Now, Izzy needs our help.

Izzy has a canker in one of her hooves. Cankers don’t heal on their own and require specialized surgery, followed by ongoing veterinary care, farrier work, medication, and careful daily treatment to ensure proper healing. Without this intervention, Izzy would be in constant discomfort and unable to continue the therapy work she loves.

The cost of Izzy’s surgery and extended recovery is more than our small nonprofit can manage alone. That’s why we’re reaching out to our community — the same community Izzy has given so much to.

Your donation will help cover Izzy’s hoof surgery, follow-up veterinary visits, ongoing treatments and bandaging, specialized farrier care during healing, and pain management and medications
