Help Izzy Be With Her Family After Her Mother Passed

Hello everyone,

My name is Loki and I am raising funds for Izzy McNiel. Izzy is a kind, 22-year-old woman, and a very close friend of mine. Izzy's mother has struggled on and off with cancer for the last 16 or so years. What began as breast cancer progressed until it affected her bones, lungs, and brain, and soon her entire body. Recently, her mother, Heather, chose to discontinue treatment.

Unfortunately, Heather's condition has rapidly worsened and she had to be admitted to hospice yesterday. Izzy needs help with maintaining income to pay for her bills (such as rent, car payments, and groceries) as the work she does over the summer does not pay for any sort of bereavement leave, or any other paid leave, and she would like to be with her family in the remaining moments of her mother's life.

Any help you could give to the McNiel family in these times would be greatly appreciated - even if that help is simply sharing her family's story far and wide.
