UPDATE
May 12, 2026

Unfortunately, Izzy Aly's I.C.E. hearing today did not go as hoped. From his lawyer, Nick Torralba:
"The Immigration Judge denied Izzy’s green card application and ordered him removed from the United States. Izzy now has 30 days to appeal that decision, otherwise that order will become final, and ICE may begin efforts to coordinate his removal from the United States."

That appeal will be expensive, $9,000. Thanks to dozens of you who stepped forward, and the great folks at LPAlliance, I believe we have enough to pay the $5,000 down payment, then we'll need to raise $1,000 per month to pay the balance.

He's lost everything, all his possessions, his car, his cat. That's why his friends are helping.

What happened:
On Dec. 23, 2025, Orlando resident Islam “Izzy” Aly was detained by Immigration officials who questioned the viability of his claim for residency. Since his detention, Izzy lost everything: his apartment, all his property, his car, even his cat was taken from him.

To make matters even worse, Izzy learned he has Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease. Despite the diagnosis, he is not receiving the necessary medical needed to treat this illness. If treated, Izzy will live. If left untreated, Izzy could die.

Many know Izzy from his many hours of volunteerism for civic and social issues. Others knew him for his long hours in the gaming community. He would often have long conversations with his friends about the need to respect one another. As an Egyptian national, he was unable to vote or even donate to political parties, but he remained a tireless supporter and volunteer for personal freedom causes.

Izzy is owner of Kronotiq Media, LLC, a media consulting firm registered in the State of Florida. Izzy lived lawfully in the United States for more than a dozen years, even graduating with a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Izzy accomplished this while regularly keeping his visa updated. He recently applied for a green card, and while that application was pending, he was taken into immigration custody.

Izzy’s friends created this campaign to provide the support he needs to be released and help him get on his feet again. Won’t you help? With your assistance, we’ll help Izzy:
  • Cover legal costs for the fight to regain his freedom
  • Get the life-saving medical treatment he needs
  • Provide the funds he needs to resume his life here in America.

Together, we can ensure that Izzy is not alone and give him the fighting chance to rebuild his life with dignity and hope. Please help us make his life right.
