Help Izza get ACL repair surgery!

Hi, my name is Chelsea McKinney and I’m making this gofundme for our family dog, Izza. After limping for a couple days, we took Izza to the vet to learn that she has torn her ACL and requires surgery. ACL tears do not get better on their own with time, therefore unfortunately, there is no other option than surgery. The cheapest the surgery would be is $3500, with the highest being around 6k. Our vet said he wants her to have surgery within a month, two months max, due to the increased likelihood that if we wait longer than that, her other ACL will tear (which is a 50/50 chance it will happen regardless in her lifetime).

The reason I am making this gofundme, is that I recently gave birth to our first child and am currently on maternity leave, so we are surviving on a one income household for the next several weeks. With a new baby, and limited income for the near future, the timing of this couldn’t have came at a worse time.

If you are able to, please donate whatever you can. Times are tough for everyone (hence the gofundme in the first place), so I completely understand if we aren’t able to make the goal of $3500.
