Help Izaio om zelfstandig te stappen

Dag liever helpers,
Ik ben Sófie, full time alleenstaande mama van Izaio, die bijna 3 is. Hij is geboren met een hersenverlamming door een tekort aan zuurstof in mijn buik.. Ook tijdens de bevalling waren er heel wat complicaties.
De beperking waar hij aan lijdt heet cerebrale parese. Wat maakt dat hij o.a. tot op deze leeftijd nog niet kan stappen. Ook praten, slikken,.. verloopt moeilijker. Zijn hersenen sturen zijn spieren niet aan, wegens de verlamming. Hij heeft elke dag (pijnlijke) behandelingen nodig bij de kinesitherapeut, voor de rest van zijn leven.
Izaio kan een behandeling volgen die 20x zo sterk is dan tijdens de conventionele therapie die hij nu krijgt. Daarvoor kan hij terecht bij het team van TRAINM (https://trainm.com/nl/), een gerenommeerd revalidatie centrum in Antwerpen . Daar stuurt een robot hem aan om te leren stappen. Zo oefent hij 1000 bewegingen per sessie. Echter is deze behandeling heel duur, het komt neer op zo´n €8000 per jaar. Jammer genoeg wordt deze therapie niet terug betaald door het ziekenfonds en moet ik op zoek naar €24000, om voor de komende 3 jaar zijn intensieve therapie te kunnen betalen.
Gezien hij tot en met de leeftijd van 5 jaar zou kunnen vooruitgaan en daarna stagneert, zou deze therapie zo snel mogelijk opgestart moeten worden. Vandaar deze fundraising, zo kan hij de komende 3 jaar dankzij deze behandeling leren stappen en vergoten zijn kansen om later zelfstandig te kunnen leven.
Voor Izaio zou dit een boost kunnen betekenen om zich te blijven inzetten en het harde en pijnlijke werk, waar hij levenslang aan vast hangt, te blijven trotseren!

I am the fulltime single mother of Izaio, who is almost 3 years old, he was born with a brain injury (cerebral palsy) due to a lack of oxygen in my belly .. There were also a lot of complications during the birth .
The injury he is suffering from is called cerebral palsy. Which means that, among other things, he cannot walk. Talking, swallowing ... is also more difficult. His brain doesn't control his muscles because of the paralysis. He needs (painful) treatments with the physiotherapist every day for the rest of his life.
Izaio can follow a treatment that is 20 times as strong as the treatments that he receives now; This treatment will be at TRAINM (https://trainm.com/nl/). A robot directs him to learn to walk in the right way. However, this treatment is very expensive. It amounts to around € 8,000 a year.
Since he could advance until the age of 6 years and then stagnate, this therapy should be started as soon as possible. Hence this fundraising, so he can continue with this treatment for the next 3 years and he could learn to walk himself and be independent later in life!
For Izaio this could be a boost to continue to commit and to continue to cope with the hard and painful work that he is attached to for life!
