Hi, we’re Will and Yeni, the parents behind Found Nomads. We’re raising funds to support our son Izaiah’s needs, both at home and wherever life’s adventures take us.
Izaiah is five years old and lives with WOREE syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects nearly every part of his life. He is nonverbal, unable to walk, and requires total care, including a tracheostomy and feeding tube. He is also a deeply loved little boy whose life has brought so much purpose, joy, and perspective to our family.
As his parents, we want to give him a life filled with comfort, love, opportunity, and memories with his brothers and sister. That means meeting his everyday needs while finding ways for him to participate in the world around him.
Your support will help us meet Izaiah’s current and future needs. Funds may go toward medical and adaptive equipment, replacing or upgrading equipment as he grows, accessible transportation and vehicle modifications, and travel that allows him to experience new places with our family. Support may also help us work toward purchasing a home we can make medically accessible for him, a dream we have already been fundraising toward.
Because Izaiah’s needs can change, this fundraiser gives us flexibility to put your generosity toward the things that will best support his care, accessibility, comfort, and quality of life.
This past summer, we traveled across the country, explored national parks, ventured into caves, and made memories together that we will cherish forever. Those experiences reminded us how much is possible with preparation, the right equipment, and a community willing to help.
Some days, that next step might be an adventure somewhere new. Other days, it might be a piece of equipment that makes daily life easier or a more accessible space to care for him. Each of those things matters to our family.
We believe Izaiah’s life is precious and full of purpose. Our faith in God carries us through this journey, and we are grateful for every person who stands alongside us.
Whether you donate, share our story, or pray for our family, thank you for helping us care for our boy and create more opportunities for him to enjoy life.
With love and gratitude,
Will, Yeni, and the Found Nomads family
