Help Ivy Fight Lymphoma
Donation protected
Ivy, our sweet and silly 8-year-old pitbull, has been a beacon of joy in our lives. She is the only dog we’ve adopted after fostering nearly 40, and she has shattered all stereotypes about bully breeds with her loving nature.
Recently, during a routine check-up for her ACL surgery, the vet discovered a swollen lymph node. After a cytology review, it was confirmed to be cancerous, and Ivy was diagnosed with lymphoma.
The news was unexpected and heartbreaking to say the least, especially since Ivy has been such a vital part of our family. She completed our pack back in 2018 and was a comforting presence for Remi after we lost Bentley. Ivy's companionship has been invaluable, and we want to give her the best chance at a longer life.
Next week, Ivy will have surgery to remove some or all of the affected lymph node, and then she will begin chemotherapy. The treatment involves significant costs, including surgery, medications, and follow-up visits. We are reaching out for support to help cover these expenses and ensure Ivy receives the care she needs. Your generosity will make a huge difference in Ivy's journey and help us keep her with us for as long as possible.
We hope that without as much of a financial burden, we can shift our energy into her and living the best rest of her life.
We appreciate you all in advance. It is incredibly hard to imagine a life without her.
