Help Ivory Jean ( Midnight) Secure a Home on Wheels

Ivory Jean is a traveling banjoist and songwriter raising funds for a reliable vehicle that will serve as both her home and a foundation for touring and creative work.
After several years of instability, including losing her only vehicle in a fire while living in Mexico, Ivory Jean has been rebuilding from the ground up. Without reliable transportation, many opportunities for stability and safety remain out of reach.
Despite this, she has continued to show up for her community through music, tarot, and creative work that centers healing, storytelling, and the reclamation of the banjo’s African roots.
Since launching her musical project “Midnight” in 2025, she has become a powerful and unique voice in her local scene—blending folk, spirituality, and lived experience into work that resonates deeply with others.
Ivory Jean has already received over $3,000 in grants this year toward her growth as an emerging artist. She is actively building momentum—but securing a vehicle is the missing piece that allows everything else to move forward.
This vehicle will provide vital impact:

-Safe and stable housing after loss
-The ability to launch regional touring
-The mobility to get to already booked festivals in different states starting this summer 2026
- the ability to travel and to record her debut album

The grants Ivory has applied for go towards bare minimum survival, and we are turning to our community to bridge the gap.

This support is time-sensitive, as without stable housing of her own, Ivory continues to be in limbo relaying on the kindness of community members and others who have been touched by her magic and sincerity.
As a Black Queer Woman living outside of societies demands, Ivory Jean's work not only heals her community but creates a ripple affect in influencing other Black Musicians to chose freedom as a means of self love, care, and survival.

If you’ve been moved by her work, her story, or believe in supporting independent artists building impact and ancestral art, your contribution makes a direct impact.

Share this widely and in all your networks and remember that we need each other.
