Hi, I’m Iverson, a photographer from Oakland, California. Recently, after finishing a photoshoot in Downtown Los Angeles, I was robbed at gunpoint. The thieves took everything I rely on for my work—my cameras, computer, hard drives, and even my ID and phones. As an aspiring traveling photographer, I had just moved to Oregon to grow my business and was working my way back to California. This loss has been devastating, not just financially but emotionally, as those bags held my entire history and catalog of pictures.

Since the robbery, I’ve had to turn down or delay photography jobs because I no longer have the equipment I need to provide my services. To stay connected with my community and keep my passion alive, I’ve been giving out Polaroids to people I meet, offering my version of love seeing light through any hardship. I’m reaching out for help to replace what was lost so I can continue pursuing my dream of working with big brands and traveling the world, capturing moments and sharing them with others.
