Ivanna Padua, a 17 year-old taekwondo athlete, has been training for over 10 years and has been competing at the national level for the past four. Her dedication and perseverance paid off when she recently won Gold at the 2025 Canadian National Taekwondo Championship in Montreal, securing her a spot on the Junior National Team and earning the opportunity to compete at the 2025 Cadet and Junior Pan American Games in Queretaro, Mexico this April!

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for Ivanna, but the journey is self-funded, with the exception of tournament registration. The costs of travel, accommodations, training, and equipment add up quickly, and we need your help to ensure Ivanna can seize this moment and represent Canada on the international stage.

Ivanna is a dedicated and hardworking student who continuously strives to improve. She is an inspiration to all the students at Royal Taekwondo and the surrounding Scarborough South-West Community. Humble and kind outside the ring, she is fierce and determined when she competes. Her passion and commitment to her sport make her a true role model for young athletes.
