Help Ivana be repatriated to Slovakia

As you will be aware, my beloved Ivana sadly passed away in Canada on 17th February in tragic circumstances, leaving both myself and our families heartbroken. I had been fortunate enough to share my life with Ivana for 12 wonderful years, but 12 years was far too short and my grief will be endless.

On top of trying to deal with the bottomless pain of Ivana's passing, we are now left with the logistical nightmare of securing the return (once the coroner allows it) of Ivana's body from its current resting place in a funeral home near Vancouver to her family home in central Slovakia, which sadly our travel insurance does not cover and which will inevitably be expensive.

When informing people of this terrible event, all of you have kindly asked if there is anything you can do to assist and/or support us at this time. Therefore, whilst this is not something either I or our families would ever usually think of asking, in these unusual circumstances a donation of any size to assist us in the repatriation of Ivana to her home country would be of great practical assistance to myself and her family, and would also provide comfort by illustrating how Ivana touched the lives of so many.

It is of course entirely up to the individual, and should any of you wish to discuss with me further how any donation received will be spent please do not hesitate to contact me.
