We need your support for our beloved Ivan. At just 24 years old, Ivan experienced a sudden loss of mobility from the waist down and was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. His journey to recovery has been long and challenging, and we need your help to enable him to take the final steps towards full recovery.
Ivan’s Story:
Ivan’s life changed dramatically at the age of 24 when he suddenly lost all mobility from the waist down. The diagnosis of lymphoma cancer came quickly, bringing with it a tough battle. His fight against cancer was long and exhausting, but ultimately successful. However, the prolonged pressure of the cancer on his spine nerves meant that regaining mobility would require extensive rehabilitation. He embarked on a long and demanding journey of physical rehabilitation, and after nine months of relentless effort, Ivan stood on his own for the first time.
After overcoming cancer, Ivan found hope at the Neuromedic Center in Niš, Serbia. The center is renowned for its advanced robotic therapies and highly trained physiotherapists. They designed a specialized recovery program for Ivan, offering him a path to regain his mobility.
A Remarkable Journey:
With the help of Neuromedic’s dedicated team, Ivan made incredible progress. In just six weeks of intensive therapy, he was able to stand again. After three months, he transitioned from a wheelchair to crutches. This progress reflects both Ivan’s determination and the exceptional care he received at Neuromedic.
However, Ivan’s journey is not yet complete. To achieve full mobility and walk independently, he needs to return to Neuromedic for additional months of treatment. This specialized treatment is private and not covered by insurance, which is why we are reaching out for your support.
