Hello, my name is Ivan Ursery II. When I was a youth, I got into a lot of trouble and fights trying to prove myself and find my identity. I had a lot of potential that was wasted because I lacked discipline and guidance. It wasn't until I joined the Navy and gave my life to Christ, that I gained the physical and spiritual discipline I needed to start achieving my goals in life. Now, I'm back in my hometown and working in the public school system. Everyday, I come into contact with boys, both in my neighborhood and at my school who are just like I was.

I feel as if it's my duty to be to them who I needed when I was young, so I've enrolled 12 of the neighborhood and school boys into Carr Boxing Gym. The tuition is $130 per month for each child and I need to cover at least three months tuition while I establish my non-profit.
