Help Ivan Study at the Purcell School of Music!

Hi, I’m Ivan, and I have a dream.

Music has been my passion since I first picked up the trumpet four years ago in Poland. At just 10 years old, I was the youngest member of a local band, learning under the guidance of an incredible teacher. I performed in concerts and attended the local music school, which sparked my love for trumpet and playing with others.

When my family moved to the Dominican Republic, my musical world expanded. There, I had the chance to play alongside many amazing musicians. It was an unforgettable experience that taught me the true joy of sharing music and help me develop my improvisation skills. My American trumpet teacher at the time helped me improve my technique and inspired me to push myself further.

Returning to the UK, I continued to grow as a musician. I play in my school’s orchestra and jazz band, and I’m part of the Jazz Hang Programme. Last year, I earned a place at Trinity Laban School of Music, where I study every Saturday, deepening my skills and learning from top musicians.

Now, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity—I’ve been accepted to The Purcell School of Music! This is a dream come true, as it’s one of the best music schools in the UK. Being surrounded by dedicated musicians and learning from exceptional teachers will give me the chance to develop my talent, build lifelong connections, and take my music to the next level.

The tuition fee for the first term is £8,600, and while my family is doing everything they can to support me, we need help to make this dream a reality. Your contribution will go directly toward my education, allowing me to focus on my growth as a musician without financial barriers.
