Help Ivan Prosper's family in their time of need
Donation protected
With extremely heavy hearts we sadly inform you that on December 8th, 2021, our loved and cherished brother, Ivan Alexander Prosper transitioned to his spiritual home. Since joining Baha Men in 2014, he served as much more than a drummer to us, opening his home to the band for rehearsals. He brought a deeper understanding and higher expectation of perfection and professionalism. He reminded us that there were no limits to what the band can achieve. He meant the world to us and the entire Baha Men organization mourns deeply as we struggle to stand in support of his family and many friends left behind. We ask that you continue to keep those whom he cared about in your thoughts and prayers, especially his wife and daughter as they find strength, fortitude, and solace in their time of need.
The tributes that are pouring in from those that knew Ivan best tell the story of a gentle, kind man who was always there with a helping hand for others. He was an educator, helping young people fulfill their musical dreams, and he always had a word of encouragement for those trying to make their way in life. Ivan was the very definition of a dedicated family man, cherishing the time he spent with his wife and daughter.
Ivan's sudden and untimely passing leaves his wife, Christie, and their young daughter, Elizabeth, with an uncertain future. Faced with significant medical bills in addition to the funeral expenses, we are asking the extended Baha Men family for any love and support they might be able to offer at this time. We want to give them a sense of financial peace while they navigate this very difficult time.
A bank account is being established for any funds raised and all money received will be given directly to the Prosper family. Oversight of the account will be handled by the band's management team.
