My name is Ivan Orisek. I have recently contracted an infection of my blood. Bacteria in my blood had eaten for three years at my spine as it always does for an individual over 50.
It appears that the cancer of vertebra bone marrow has been averted by massive doses of IV antibiotics.
But the infection has somewhat increased and may be eating at the bones of my vertebra. The antibiotic volume has now been doubled and may have to continue for several months.
This is what a wonderful team of doctors assembled from various other hospitals did, including oncologists, hematologists, nuclear physicians, infectious disease specialists, orthopedists, and others.
Tomorrow, I am being transferred to the Valhalla Medical Center for an evaluation by a spine surgeon.
Over the last six weeks, I have racked up $250,000 in expenses with an undetermined portion I will be asked to pay myself. These expenses may continue at this rate for several months.
This makes me destitute as of now.
Any financial help, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
