My name is Julie, I'm originally from Canada and have been teaching English to elementary school students in the Kingdom of Cambodia for over a decade.

Recently I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. My medical insurance company has stated they will not cover my treatment. The reason given is that my condition was pre-existing based on the size of the tumour. Throughout this period I was completely unaware of my cancerous tumour.

I have no living relatives or pension plans. I live alone, save for my constant canine companion Thurber and the two cats. The cat's names will remain anonymous as they don't care. Thurber cares.

Here I am in Cambodia, needing assistance to help pay my rent and make my remaining time less stressful and a little more comfortable.
