Itachi is my sweet, loving, and funny dog that I picked up from the shelter a year and a half ago. He has brought so much joy into my life with his playful spirit and caring nature, always eager to make friends with people and other pets. Our bond has grown so strong—he truly is my best friend and has made an amazing difference in my life.
Recently, Itachi has started to lose interest in his favorite activities because of restricted mobility. There isn’t a direct diagnosis yet, but we’re working with veterinarians to find answers. So far, we know he doesn’t have hip dysplasia, but the clubbing of his feet and the lack of use in his hind legs suggest a neurological or muscle issue. He’s currently on prednisone and clindamycin Hydrochloride to help with any possible infection, and the neurologist has recommended more tests and physical therapy to help him regain lost muscle.
The funds raised will go directly toward Itachi’s medications, physical therapy, and any other treatments he needs to recover. Your support will help give him the best chance at regaining his mobility and enjoying life again. Thank you, friends and family, for taking the time to view this fundraiser and for any help you can offer. Your kindness means the world to both of us. He is still just a puppy. I want to see him play again and run as puppies should do.
