Hello! My name is Issy and I started this fundraiser to raise money for shelters this holiday season.

Last time I made a GoFundMe to help the shelters, I was able to raise over $1,000 thanks to you guys. I used that money to buy toys, beds, cover vet bills, and donate to different organizations.

For this fundraiser, I'm looking to do the same but take a deeper dive into organizations that may be less known. I love focusing on shelters that help overlooked breeds such as pit bulls and high-kill shelters.

After spending a lot of my days volunteering and fostering, I have learned the temperaments of different dogs and how misunderstood they are in the shelters because of the high-stress environment. Often sleeping on cold floors with no enrichment, I think the holidays are a time to change that, especially with the cold days approaching. Anything helps support my dream of helping them. If you're unsure if a small donation is even worth it, hopefully, this guide helps put into perspective what some things cost to help: $8 toys, $10 blankets, $15 floor mats, $20 beds, $15 treats, etc.
