Help send the Israeli National Team of Pickleball to the World Cup!
For few years now, the world's fastest-growing racket sports has taken over Israel, providing players with a fun and exciting game but also, and mostly, a loving community. The Israeli Pickleball Association (IPBA) has been working relentlessly to send the country's greatest players to the World Cup, this year held in Vietnam. These athletes were handpicked by the association and would love nothing more than to wave the Israeli flag and show the world what we are made of!
If you would like to see the country's best players represent Israel on the world stage, please consider donating. The funds raised will help cover flights, accommodation, training and transportation.
And please consider supporting our ongoing fundraiser!
Help Grow Pickleball in Israel – Support the Israel Pickleball Association (IPBA)!
"When my son went to fight in Gaza, I started playing pickleball every day"
Pickleball has only been in Israel for two short years — but in that time, it has grown into a sport played on kibbutzim, in cities, on army bases, and in communities across the country. What started as a handful of enthusiasts has blossomed into a thriving movement bringing together young and old, secular and religious, beginners and seasoned athletes.
At the heart of this growth is the Israel Pickleball Association (IPBA). Founded and run entirely by volunteers, the IPBA exists to make pickleball accessible to everyone in Israel — providing the structure, support, and logistics needed to bring this new sport to life. We don’t receive government funding. Every court line painted, every paddle and net purchased, every tournament organized, and every international competition supported has been made possible through personal contributions and generous donations.
Your support will go directly toward:
• Ongoing expenses such as legal and administrative needs that keep the sport organized, sustainable and expanding.
• Community projects like painting pickleball lines on public courts, maintaining equipment, and creating more places for people to play.
• Major initiatives such as Israel's participation in the Pickleball World Cup, and preparing for pickleball’s historic debut in the 2026 Maccabiah Games here in Israel.
During these difficult times of war and uncertainty, pickleball has become more than just a sport. It has given Israelis a way to shut off their worries, get exercise, and find joy and connection. On the courts, people find community, friendship, and a rare moment of peace.
But to keep growing, we need your help. The demand for pickleball in Israel is outpacing our limited resources. With no government support, the future of pickleball here depends on the generosity of people like you who believe in building community, health, and hope through sports.
Please join us in supporting the Israel Pickleball Association. Together, we can ensure that pickleball continues to thrive — from kibbutz courts to international arenas — and that Israelis everywhere can keep playing, connecting, and smiling, even in the hardest times.
