Help Israel in his battle with Cancer

Hi My name is Victoria and I am Israel's wife. I am opening this gofundme with the hope that there are people out there who are willing to help. 

My Husband at 32 years old just a few days after his birthday on Thursday October 14th 2021 was Diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. As many can imagine it has been a extremly difficult time. It came unexpectedly, we thought it was back pain and for 2 months almost 3 it was treated as such, with no relief. On the Wednesday after a night of no sleep and extruciating pain we decided enough is enough and I rushed him to Urgent care at 8am. They gave him morphine for the pain, blood test and ordered him a Emergency MRI and after a few hours, they told us they found something suspicious in his abdomen back area and needed to be admitted to the hospital. After being admitted a CT Scan was done along with a biopsy, blood tests and ultrasounds, then the news came, and a surgery called a orchiectomy was done on Friday night at 6pm to remove the affected testicle. 

We are hopeful, have faith and trust in Gods plan that he will make it out of this Victorious.

Before this diagnosis we were soon planning to have our first child in the coming months/year now all those things must be put on pause for my husband to heal and recover. We were told he will need chemotherapy and another possible surgery to remove any affected lymphnodes. This could affect our ability to have children in the future so doctors have recommended us to sperm bank, this will increase our chances to have children when the time comes. 

A little bit of our backstory, We have been married now for 4 years as of May 27th,  together for 11 years since 2010 and have known eachother our entire lives. In our dating period of our relationship my husband lived in mexico and we were long distance for 6 years before he popped the question. I was in school had no money and he was barley getting by as well, I took on a full time job making 10$ per hr while finishing my studies at Azusa Pacific University and we did everything we could to legally bring him into the USA he could not work and that was hard for us too, we racked up alot of debt during this time especially with a wedding but 2 months after our wedding and moving into a small rental room in a familys home, God answered us and gave him his official greencard and ok to work in the USA! Things started to get better and after renting a small 8ft by 8ft room with not hot water for almost 2 years we finally were able to afford to rent a apartment. We moved into our first apartment in 2019 and were so grateful and excited to be able to have our own place to call home, then I got sick for 6months doctors appointments after appointments and no reason why until a urgent care doctor discovered it was my wisdom teeth of all things! This also caused us to rack up more debt as we have never been able to afford health insurance. Thankfuly in August of 2019 my teeth were removed and things started to look brighter. Then the Covid 19 pandemic hit in 2020 I lost my work as a freelance graphic designer and my husband was the only one making income to sustain us. God always provided one way or another and has carried us every step of the way. Now we find ourselves here, my husband sick, and in need to any help we can get, But we know that once more God will show us how he has carried us and continues to carry us throught the storm and how he has never abandoned us or forsaken us.

Mi esposo, a los 32 años, solo unos días después de su cumpleaños, el jueves 14 de octubre de 2021, fue diagnosticado con cáncer de testículo. Como muchos pueden imaginar, ha sido un momento extremadamente difícil. Vino inesperadamente, pensamos que era un dolor de espalda y durante 2 meses casi 3 se trató como tal, sin alivio. El miércoles, después de una noche sin dormir y un dolor intenso, decidimos que ya era suficiente y lo llevé de urgencia a atención de urgencia a las 8 a.m. Le dieron morfina para el dolor, análisis de sangre y le ordenaron una resonancia magnética de emergencia y después de unas horas nos dijeron que encontraron algo sospechoso en la zona de la espalda del abdomen y que debían ingresar al hospital. Después de ser admitido, se realizó una tomografía computarizada junto con una biopsia, análisis de sangre y ecografías, luego llegó la noticia y se realizó una cirugía llamada orquiectomía el viernes por la noche a las 6 p.m. para extirpar el testículo afectado. 

Tenemos esperanza, tenemos fe y confianza en el plan de Dios de que saldrá victorioso. Antes de este diagnóstico, estábamos planeando tener nuestro primer hijo/hija en los próximos meses / año, ahora todas esas cosas deben ponerse en pausa para que mi esposo se cure y se recupere. Nos dijeron que necesitaría quimioterapia y otra posible cirugía para extirpar los ganglios linfáticos afectados. Esto podría afectar nuestra capacidad de tener hijos en el futuro por lo que los médicos nos han recomendado el banco de esperma, esto aumentará nuestras posibilidades de tener hijos cuando llegue el momento.

Un poco de nuestra historia de fondo, hemos estado casados ​​durante 4 años el 27 de mayo, juntos durante 11 años desde 2010 y nos conocemos de toda la vida. En nuestro período de citas de nuestra relación, mi esposo vivía en México y estuvimos a larga distancia durante 6 años antes de que él hiciera la pregunta. Yo estaba en la escuela, no tenía dinero y él también se la batallaba en mexico. Tomé un trabajo de tiempo completo ganando 10 $ por hora mientras terminaba mis estudios en la Universidad Azusa Pacific e hicimos todo lo posible para traerlo legalmente a los EE. Nos mudamos a nuestro primer apartamento en 2019 y estábamos muy agradecidos y emocionados de poder tener nuestro propio lugar para llamar hogar, luego me enfermé durante 6 meses citas con el médico después de las citas y sin motivo hasta que un médico de atención de urgencia descubrió que era mi sabiduría dientes de todas las cosas! Esto también hizo que acumuláramos más deudas, ya que nunca habíamos podido pagar un seguro médico. Afortunadamente, en agosto de 2019 me quitaron los dientes y las cosas comenzaron a verse más brillantes. Luego de la pandemia de Covid 19 en 2020, perdí mi trabajo como diseñador gráfico independiente y mi esposo era el único que obtenía ingresos para mantenernos. Dios siempre proporcionó una forma u otra y nos ha llevado en cada paso del camino. Ahora nos encontramos aquí, mi esposo enfermo, y con la necesidad de cualquier ayuda que podamos conseguir, pero sabemos que una vez más Dios nos mostrará cómo nos ha llevado y continúa llevándonos a través de la tormenta y cómo nunca nos ha abandonado y nunca nos desampara.
