Hello, my name is Israa Safi, I’m 31 years old and a mother of three — Fouad, Fadi, and Mohammed. We lived a simple life in a warm home in Gaza… until the war shattered everything.

Our home was bombed. My husband's sister, who was sheltering with us, lost her eye. Her son lost his leg. My mother-in-law passed away from cancer. A week later, my brother Mohammed was killed when my childhood home was destroyed.

We fled under gunfire and took shelter in a small tent during the freezing winter, with no clean water, no food, and no medicine.

Between hunger and death, we wait for a glimmer of hope in the shadow of this miserable life. Please, stand with us.

We later lost my nephew Abdullah, and shortly after, my eldest brother Ahmed was also killed.

Our home is gone. Our family is torn apart. We are homeless, displaced, and in urgent need of help.
