As many of you know, Isla and the Johnston family received news on February 24th after a routine check-up that there is evidence of a recurrence of cancer in Isla’s little body, specifically in her lower spine. Isla immediately underwent surgery this past week (Feb 26th) for a port placement to begin treatment, had a lumbar puncture to check for cancerous cells in her spinal fluid, and began chemotherapy. Isla will receive chemotherapy infusions every 2 weeks for the next year.

As their church family, their friends, neighbors, and community, we can and will hold up their arms during this battle. We will continue to cover and intercede for them in prayer and ask the Lord to heal Isla again.

This GoFundMe page is the most practical, efficient, and effective way we can help the family at this time. Between the expensive and extensive medical bills, trips to doctors and different appointments all the while trying to manage and protect a sense of normalcy for the family, these funds can and will be used to fill any and all needed gaps to make the weight a little lighter for Finn, Kat, Isla, and Reuben.
