Help Isis-Raine Heal from Abuse Injuries

Hello, my name is Marieca and I am fundraising for my 1-year-old dog, Isis Raine, to receive surgery and treatment for her right hip that is out of socket and right knee that has been dislocated .  Due to the prolonged effect of not being able to get her treated right away, which could have been resulted in her hip being snapped back into place and her knee relocated Isis is now in need of surgery to remove the scar tissue that has formed and readjust her hip and knee back into place.( CCL & FHO SURGERY) THE SURGERY WAS QUOTED FOR APPROXIMATELY 9,700 , MY GOAL IS $7,500 BUT IM ASKING FOR A MINIMUM OF $4,000.

 (BACKSTORY) For those that know me & those that don’t, I have had Isis since she was 4 weeks and have had the blessing to raise her since as she is not only my best friend and a part of my family, but my ESA as well. I was in a prior relationship that began in July, a relationship with someone that unfortunately turned violent and remained that way for 6 months. As you all know, not every domestic violence situation is easy to get away from and the worse it got, the more problems it caused for me and Isis' mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

The end of December began the pain and suffering for Isis as she was involved in one of the fights between me and my abuser, which led to him picking Isis up. slamming her on her back &pushing her on wood floors, leading the right side of her body to knock against a metal pole and locking her in the bathroom. As most times I would try my hardest to shield her from my experiences but unfortunately my abuser hurt her and she came out the bathroom limping with her hip bone out of socket and her knee ligament torn as well, tearing the patellar ligament in her right leg.

As much as I wanted to report the situation and get help immediately, the abuser would not let me get away or take her in for help as he was worried about being reported to the police instead of Isis’ well being. Though I fought hard to get her treatment as soon as possible while I was still working a job, the longer I was prohibited to get her help , the more it caused ache on her pain. During the end of the year of 2024 a situation occurred that resulted in me being separated from my abuser. However, during that time, I faced many challenges that led me to having to make a major change in our lives and move .

Within these past few weeks, I was able to get in contact with a family member and moved states to live with them as I am on a new journey to better my life and heal from the trauma I experienced . However, Isis is still reaping the pain of the abusive situation as she still remains with her hip dislocated and patellar ligament torn.

I am currently working to make a better living for Isis and myself, however I am not in the best financial situation to provide the full funding to get Isis the surgery and treatment she is in dire need of.I appreciate any and all contributions as any amount of support is one step closer to getting Isis the care she needs. Isis is so young and has so much life ahead of her and it breaks my heart to see her in this way every day because I could not protect her. She put herself in harm's way to protect me when it should have never been a situation that occurred in the first place where Isis felt she had to protect me when it is my job to protect her. As I pray, work on myself and our situation, I am faithful that Isis will be able to receive the care she needs and will no longer have to live in the pain and suffering of our past with prayers and support surrounding her . She will be able to heal, move on, and be happy as she was before all the trauma that occurred in our lives.
