Hey there. My name is Isabella, but call me Isi. I am originally from Germany and have just turned 18 years old. Right now I’m living my dream as a singer-songwriter enrolled at Berklee College of Music.

Ever since I was six years old, music has been the centre of my life. I began taking singing lessons in first grade and immediately fell in love with expressing myself through art. At 13, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in pop music which led to me starting to take piano lessons. A year later, I decided to move to the UK to attend Leighton Park School, where I finally found the focus of music, community and support that I always wanted. This allowed me to grow from singing individually, to collaborating with other talented musicians, performing in different genres, and exploring additional instruments like the guitar and drums.

During my time at school, I was honoured to have been part of winning titles like the ISA A Capella competitions, and I also discovered my love for music technology (producing and mixing) and the music business. These subjects additionally with music itself have become my primary focus of my A-Levels. These led to my current of one day working in the record label industry and helping artists grow while also creating my own music.

When I found out that I have been accepted into Berklee College of music with a 10% scholarship, it felt surreal to have even made it this far. Attending Berklee means collaborating with so many amazing artists, learning from incredible professors and gaining the opportunities and tools I need to build a successful career in one of the most competitive industries present.

But like you are potentially aware of, studying in the U.S. is incredibly expensive. Overall costs for me attending add up to roughly $83,000 per year with tuition alone being $52,000. This is way more than what I am able to afford on my own. That's why I am now reaching out to you for support.
