Description: My name is Ishmael, and I recently passed my permit test—one big step closer to getting my California driver’s license! Now, I’m hoping to raise enough funds to attend driver’s education, which is the next requirement on my journey to becoming a licensed driver.

Having my license will open up so many opportunities for me. I’ll be able to get to church, work, and school on my own, visit family members, and travel to new places. I’m also looking forward to the day I can go on a date with someone who drives, and maybe even share a laugh about gas prices as I keep my future car fueled up for all kinds of adventures. This isn’t just about driving—it’s about gaining independence and being able to support myself and those I care about.
