Help Ishaq and his family to survive
Donation protected
Hi, I am Yael, in Berlin living Jew. Within the more and more tragic developments of the middle east conflict during the last 19 months I met amazing people, who still believe in peace, in a possible life of togetherness on a common beloved ground and that a human life is more holy than land.
One of them is my dear friend, who wants to be named here for security and discretion reasons Ishaq bin Ibrahim, whom I have met in an international meeting for Palestinians and Jews fascilitated by Non-Violent Communication trainers. His life in a village close to Hebron resembles an extended prison with no possibilities to work for his families income anymore. InshAllaah b´esrat Hashem I would be glad and honored if we manage together to help them. I will transfer all donations to him directly. Let him describe his situation in his own words:
I am Ishaq bin Ibrahim from the Hebron area. I am suffering from the effects of the war that occurred in Gaza, as well as on us in the West Bank.
I am suffering because I lost my place of work in Israel as a result of the events of October 7 and I no longer have any source of income or path to work as a result of our prevention from entering Israel.
My family and I have been struggling for a year and a half to manage the needs of the household, including food and drink and to manage the purchase of electricity, water, and the internet.
Our area is closed by Israeli army checkpoints and there is no room for work.
We buy most of our needs on credit, as I have accumulated debts of approximately fifteen thousand dollars and most shops refuse to sell us on credit, which has made our lives much more difficult.
Before the war, I was also a peace activist. I was in many meetings between Palestinians and Israelis. I believe in peace and dialogue and reject violence and extremism.
The problem is that I can no longer manage the needs of my home and my children, other than supporting my elderly mother, who suffers from many diseases and needs special care. In addition, I also suffer from some chronic diseases, especially high blood pressure, and I need medications and seeing doctors and I suffer greatly because I do not have any money to manage the affairs of my life, my home, my children and my mother.
This is part of my story and my suffering that words can not describe accurately, as the suffering and pain are greater than all words.
