On March 24, 2026, tragedy struck a humble, hard-working family in Costa Rica when their home caught fire in the middle of the night.
At 1:00 AM, a neighbor woke them up just in time to escape. The fire, believed to have started from the stove, quickly destroyed the home and everything inside.
Five family members were living there:
• Isaias, a 27-year-old gardener who has worked tirelessly to help support his family
• His father, 60 years old
• His sister (25 years old) and her husband (29 years old)
• Their 2-year-old daughter
They lost everything: clothes, beds, personal belongings, household items, and even the gardening tools Isaias depended on for work and income. They are split up now, living with family and friends.
This was not just a house. It was the family home that Isaias’ mother had worked hard to obtain through government assistance nearly 20 years ago. She recently passed away, making this loss even more heartbreaking for the family.
They are good people from a small town outside the main tourist areas of Costa Rica. They are humble, honest, and hardworking, and now they are trying to rebuild their lives from nothing.
We are raising money to help them:
• Rebuild a safe place to live
• Replace basic necessities and clothing
• Help Isaias replace the gardening tools he needs to work and support the family again
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference for this family during an incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
