It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that Isaias Alvidrez passed away this morning, only a few hours after beginning his first round of chemotherapy.

Isa was just 22 years old, a bright and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone around him. He was studying in the BA/MD medical program at the University of New Mexico, dedicating his future to helping others, a reflection of his caring nature and enormous heart.

While his time with us was far too short, Isa’s kindness, laughter, and compassion will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

We are updating this fundraiser to help support his family during this unimaginable time, including funeral and memorial expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, or even a simple share or prayer means the world to us as we honor Isa’s life and legacy in the best and biggest way possible.
