Help Me Represent Team USA at the U19 World Rowing Championships in Lithuania!
Hi, my name is Isaiah Aljuwani, and I’ve just been given one of the most incredible opportunities. I’ve been selected to represent Team USA this summer at the U19 World Rowing Championships in Trakai, Lithuania. I’ll begin training in late June at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in California, where I’ll prepare with the rest of the team for five weeks before we head to Europe to compete against the world’s best.

What am I Fundraising For?
Training, travel, lodging, coaching, gear, and other expenses are a significant barrier. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to the starting line in Lithuania and is deeply appreciated. If you're unable to give at this time, simply sharing this fundraiser with others also makes a big difference and means the world to me.

Why This Means So Much
Getting that message that I made the team didn’t feel real at first. I’ve given everything to rowing these past four years at Canisius High School in Buffalo, NY. Early mornings, long practices, sore muscles, and many of setbacks—but also unforgettable friendships, leadership opportunities, and moments of real growth. Being chosen for Team USA is one of the biggest honors of my life.

I first picked up an oar my freshman year and since then, rowing has become the center of my life. It’s taught me discipline, time management, and the value of pushing through discomfort in pursuit of something bigger. More than that, it’s shown me that no matter where you’re from, with enough work and heart, you can go far. Representing the United States is more than just a personal milestone—it’s a huge step toward my ultimate goal of one day rowing in the Olympics. I hope my journey can inspire others in my hometown of Buffalo to believe in what’s possible.

What’s Next For Me?
This fall, I’ll be continuing my academic and athletic career at Boston University, where I’ve committed to row Division I. Competing at the U19 World Championships is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that brings me one step closer to my Olympic dream. Your support and encouragement means so much to me on this journey. Go USA!

Thank you for your support!
