Donations for Isadore’s health journey!

Hi there, my name is Brittany Sanguez. I am the oldest granddaughter of Lucy and Isadore Simon, as some of you may know my grandfather Isadore, from Rocher River, NT was diagnosed with throat cancer on February 8th, 2023. This was a complete shock to our family, the man who is our super hero and the glue to our family, we did not take this very well. As it has been a very tough time for our family, after almost losing our childhood home that raised multiple kids and grandchildren to the 2021 Spring break up flood in Jean Marie, maintaining their fueling business still and are living in my grandmothers Lucy’s retired B&B trailer that is very small and also needs repairs, I can tell my grandparents are very stressed and overwhelmed with the situation they were given.

My grandpa would never ask for help, but I know how he would go above and beyond for everyone he loves, I would love to see my grandpa less stressed and his financial burdens lifted from his shoulders, as they have been in Edmonton for quite sometime now running scans, getting everything ready for his chemo starting April 27th in Edmonton Alberta.

He has been driving himself to Edmonton for his appointments with my grandmother, paying out of pocket for hotels, gas, food while trying to stay on top of bills and house repairs they’ve been trying to work on since the flood.

All donations and proceeds will go directly into their account, on behalf of the Simon/ Sanguez family I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the prayers and help already given to them. He is a strong man, and I know he can get through this with your love and support.

a little update about my dad, he is taking a ten day break from radiation, he has gotten a tube from his nose to his mouth, but Thursday will be changing it to a direct tube to his stomach since he is having a hard time sleeping with it in his nose.

May 25th will be starting a more powerful radiation, so he does need all the rest and energy he can get for that.

he is staying positive and fighting as much as he can, he told me to post he really appreciates everyone’s donations and kind words. He wishes to be home duck hunting for the ten days off, but it’s safe to be there to rest.
