Help Isack Become a Lawyer and Support His Family Future

About This Fundraiser
My name is Selena, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to support Isack Nathanael Ngido Mnzava, a devoted husband, a loving father, and aspiring lawyer from Tanzania. Isack is a friend of my sister, Dale, and someone whose story has deeply touched our hearts.

Dale met Isack during her climb to Mount Kilimanjaro. Isack was one of the mountain guides on that journey, and his strength, kindness, and deep dedication to his family left a lasting impression on her — and later, on me too.

Isack is 32 years old, with a bachelor’s degree in law. He is also a devoted husband and father of two boys. His older son, Steven (9), is a bright child with autism, and his younger son is just under two years old.

Despite the challenges, Isack works hard every day to care for his family. He guides mountain treks, makes and sells handmade jewelry, and takes seasonal jobs whenever he can. Still, it’s barely enough to cover rent, food, and the basic needs of his family.

But Isack has a dream: to become a licensed lawyer.

Isack began studying law in 2017, but had to drop out due to lack of tuition. He sold handmade jewelry on the streets to support himself, and when his son Steven was diagnosed with autism in 2018, he trained as a mountain guide to earn more.

Despite many obstacles, he never gave up. He returned to law school in 2021 and graduated in 2024.

The final step is attending Legal Practice School in Dar es Salaam, a one-year postgraduate program that will allow him to gain his license and begin practicing law officially.

Why Your Help Matters
Isack cannot work while studying, and the family cannot relocate to Dar es Salaam due to his son’s specific needs. That’s why we are raising funds to cover both his education costs and basic family expenses during that year.
Here’s the breakdown of the estimated costs:
• Tuition and school fees: 1,100 EUR
• Expenses for the school: accommodation, books, meals, attire, and travel: 2,200 EUR
• Family support for 1 year (rent, food, utilities, school needs): 4,700 EUR
Total fundraising goal: 8,000 EUR

Urgent Need: To enroll on time, Isack must pay a first installment of 2,000 EUR by June 17, 2025.
This will cover his tuition payment, initial travel to Dar es Salaam, and essential support for his family during the transition.

The rest of the funds can be raised gradually over the course of the year while he attends school.

Why We Believe in Isack
Isack is intelligent, hardworking, and deeply committed to his family. He has never stopped trying — despite everything — to build a better life for his children.
Becoming a lawyer would not only give him a stable income, but also allow him to afford better care and therapy for Steven, and serve his community with dignity and purpose.
