Help Support Isabelle's Study Abroad Journey in Seoul

Hello! My name is Isabelle Casavant, and I am an upcoming senior at Hampshire College, majoring in creative writing, acting, and possessing a great interest in Korean culture and language. I am enrolled in an exchange program at Ewha Womans University in Seoul for the fall 2025 semester, yet find myself struggling financially to afford the travel expenses and achieve my dream. I am unable to work while in Seoul, and therefore will have no source of income.

I have been raised with an excitement to learn about my family's Korean culture and experience, and as a result, have begun learning Korean. My interest in going to Seoul extends beyond my love for travel. It will enrich my education, and strengthen the bond I have with my family. During my time in South Korea, I will be working towards my final senior project: a documentary about my grandmother's life and her experience living during the Korean War. Studying in Seoul will allow me to achieve my final project for university. Any money donated will be used to secure necessities such as toiletries, food, and clothing, and help cover the cost of airfare so I can travel.
