Help Isabella Pursue Life-Changing Educational Opportunities

Hello, my name is Isabella Neely. I’m a sophomore at Cocke County High School with a deep passion for music and academic achievement. Since my freshman year, I’ve been actively involved in choir. Music has always been there for me, through worship as well as being a part of the Big Red Fire Choir family. Recently, I was honored to be accepted into the highly competitive Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts. This program is an incredible opportunity to grow as a vocalist and performer, and a significant step toward my future in the arts.

While I was fortunate to receive a partial scholarship, I am still responsible for $2,435 in tuition and fees to attend. This alone would be a financial stretch for my family, but it’s not the only academic opportunity on my plate.

I’ve also been accepted into Middle College, an accelerated dual enrollment program that allows me to earn my associate’s degree while still in high school. This program will put me years ahead in my education and significantly improve my chances for college scholarships down the road. However, it too comes with additional financial costs.

These are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, but my family and I simply cannot afford them on our own. That’s why I’m asking for your help. To show my appreciation and give back to my community, I am committing to donate one hour of volunteer service to a local charity here in Newport for every $50 donated. This is my way of paying it forward and honoring the support I receive.

I know times are tough for many, and it’s difficult to ask for help, but your contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping me access programs that will shape my future. Even a small donation brings me one step closer to achieving my dreams.
