Help Isabella Attend Yale Campaign School!

Donation protected
Hello!

For those who don’t know me I am Isabella Lee Tibbetts indigenous Quechua from Ecuador and I reside on occupied Shasta, Takelma and Latgawa territory in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. I am an artist, mother, activist, community organizer and have a big opportunity coming up. I am incredibly excited to announce that I have been accepted into The Campaign School at Yale University so will be headed to Yale Law School in New Haven Connecticut from June 8-14!!!

The Campaign School at Yale University is a nonpartisan, issue-neutral leadership program whose mission is to increase the number and influence of women in elected and appointed office in the United States and around the globe! This is considered the masters program of campaign school’s and only accepts 80 applicants from the US and around the world! “Known for alumni like Kirsten Gillibrand and Gabrielle Giffords, and also for being almost sadistically intensive….” --The New York Times
This program will be 5 days of intense curriculum from political opporatives from both sides of the aisle, with days ranging from 12-16 hour days and all this resulting in a campaign presentation.

I am once again putting my fundraising to the test reaching out to my community near and far to help me reach my fundraising goal of $4,215. This would cover the cost of the program, airfare, train tickets from Hartford to New Haven), lodging (with hopes of having a roommate and cutting this price in half) that is just across the street from campus so no need for transportation and some meals.

Program Cost: $300 (Originally 1,800)
Airfare: $820
Lodging: $1,145 (Hopefully this will be cut in half with a roommate)
Food: $400 (Most meals provided)
Train Ticket: $20 (I plan on taking the train from Hartford to New Haven)
Transportation: $30

Reaching my fundraising goal would help take a lot of the weight off financially since we are as of December a single income household since losing my job. This is an incredible opportunity much like last year in attending LBJ Women’s Campaign School in Austin, TX. Again, it is my hope to bring all the knowledge I gain back to Southern Oregon and use it to help our local rural voices in the political landscape. This is just another step towards my day of one day running for office and in the meantime being able to help support rural candidates.

There are a few ways you can donate. Direct donations locally are preferred, to avoid any processing fees (feel free to message me). However I do have Venmo: Isabella_Tibbetts or PayPal: IsabellaTibbetts541

I am happy to talk with anyone about this incredible opportunity. Thank you so much for your donation, if you are unable to donate please consider sharing amongst your networks. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In Solidarity,
Isabella Lee Tibbetts
