Isabelita was born September 9, 2024, with a congenital heart defect and urgently requires surgery to stay alive. She and her family live in the small agricultural town of Pimampiro, Ecuador, and unfortunately, do not have the means to pay for this surgery. Thankfully, a foundation has offered help with part of the cost, but the family still needs to come up with another $5,000 to pay for her surgery, plus incidentals. This is an enormous sum in an area where most people earn less than $400 a month, so I have set up this fund to assist the family with this urgent need.
