Help Isabele on her path towards recovery
Donation protected
My name is Isabele Harnetiaux and I am a 21 year old with traumatic brain injuries.
I was a passenger in a single car accident on April 7th, 2018. I had just turned 18 and the injuries I have been dealing with since have changed my life. Because of my injuries and their ongoing impacts, it has been extremely difficult for me to work or even get through my daily tasks. Since that day I have dealt with chronic painful headaches, problems with my vision, difficulties with word finding, memory loss, tremors, and other troubling symptoms. While I have sought treatment for my injuries, it has been a difficult road. I have seen many doctors and it has been very frustrating. But I am hopeful.
Through my exams and treatments, I have been diagnosed with three closed brain injuries. But my current team has a path forward. On October 27th, 2021, I will begin assessment for treatment of my injuries at Barrows Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. I am extremely grateful and hopeful to take steps in the right direction for my recovery. Unfortunately, the costs are not being covered by insurance and I have not been able to resolve my injuries with the insurer for the driver. Because of this I need help to pay for this treatment.
I have created this GoFundMe to help with medical bills and living costs for myself and my significant other/caregiver, Noah while we are in Arizona. We were given a short one month notice to move our life together from Seattle, WA to Phoenix, AZ which has proven to be a difficult task. Any way you can help us is greatly appreciated.
