My family and I have been going through a difficult financial period, and it’s been a real challenge to keep up with everything. I’ve been focused on helping at home and trying to keep the lights on, but as a result, my grades slipped and my Texas grant was temporarily suspended until I can bring them back up. Now, I owe a past due balance to my school, and unless I can cover it, I won’t be able to register for the second 8 weeks. If I can’t register, I’ll have to wait until fall 2026 to continue my studies, but I want to keep moving forward as soon as possible.

The funds I raise here will go directly toward my past due balance so I can stay in school. My ultimate goal is to receive the education my parents and I have been working and sacrificing so much for. One of my biggest dreams is to graduate from UHD and walk across that stage, celebrating not just my hard work, but also the sacrifices my family and I have made to get here. The photo I chose for my fundraiser is a reminder of that goal and the hope I have to make it a reality with your support.
