Help Isabel Receive a Life-Saving Kidney!

Hi! I’m Carla Walz and I have had the pleasure of knowing The Foushi Family for about 10 years now. Their son, Mark, was my 3rd grade student and I adore their entire family! Mark’s sister, Isabel, needs our help and I’m hoping we can get the job done!

Isabel started her medical journey at 5 years old. She became extremely ill with viral cardiomyopathy that led her to need a heart transplant. On November 1, 2024 Isabel will celebrate 20 years since her new heart gave her a second chance at life! Her heart is doing well as she continues to do everything she needs to in order to keep it healthy. Unfortunately, her immunosuppressant medications are making her kidneys ill and since having Covid a few years ago, her kidneys are damaged to the point that Isabel needs a kidney transplant. She has been very blessed to have many people get tested to see if they are a match. As of today, she has two potential donor matches that attend her sister’s college and she will soon get her much needed transplant.

Isabel is a beautiful young lady that will do anything for you. She looks at life as a precious gift. She is the person that will step outside and say, “Listen to that - the birds are just singing away!” She knows how much we humans take for granted and she is grateful for what God has given her. She completely comprehends The Gift of Life. She is one who normally will not ask for help as she loves helping others. But Isabel and her family need help now! We are raising funds for her medical needs, transportation, parents' time off work to care for her, her recovery, and any financial burden for her donor. Your generosity means the world to her and her family.
