Hello friends — I’m posting this with permission and a heavy heart to support a sweet friend in our little Filipino community here in Auburn/Opelika, Isabel, and her family. Her 2-month-old little girl is currently at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham since January 31st, and she’s focused on what matters most: being present and advocating for her child’s care. During times like this, the everyday costs can become overwhelming — time away from work, travel, parking, meals, and other unexpected expenses. We’re raising funds to help relieve some of that burden so she can concentrate on her child’s care.
