Dear Friends and Community,

My mother, Isabel Gonzalez, is a loving wife and extraordinary mother to her three children. At the age of fifty-two, she was diagnosed with lung cancer in November of 2023, and it has spread to her brain. She recently had a procedure to remove the tumor from her lungs and has started chemotherapy. My mother cannot work or drive in her condition. My father is working hard to support my mother but is the sole financial provider of my family. I, her youngest daughter, must stay home to help care for her. All her medical needs are taken care of in Monterrey, Mexico. It’s a five-hour drive from our home in Eagle Pass, Texas.

All donations will fund my mother’s medical expenses, gas for the multiple trips to Mexico, hotel costs, and food.

Mi mama, Isabel González, es una esposa amorosa y una madre extraordinaria para sus tres hijos. A la edad de cincuenta y dos años, le diagnosticaron cáncer de pulmón en noviembre de 2023 y se extendió al cerebro. Recientemente se sometió a un procedimiento para extirpar el tumor de sus pulmones y comenzó la quimioterapia. Mi mama no puede trabajar ni conducir en su condición. Mi papa trabaja duro para mantener a mi madre pero es el único proveedor financiero de mi familia. Yo, su hija menor, debo quedarme en casa para ayudar a cuidarla. Todas sus necesidades médicas son atendidas en Monterrey, México. Es un viaje de cinco horas desde nuestra casa en Eagle Pass, Texas.

Todas las donaciones financiarán los gastos médicos de mi madre, gasolina para los múltiples viajes a México, costos de hotel y comida.
