My son, Isaac McDonald, has always been fascinated by severe weather. From a young age, he’s shown a remarkable passion and knowledge for understanding storms and their impact on people’s lives. Now, at just 13 years old, Isaac has the incredible opportunity to travel to the Midwest with me, his parent, to study active storms alongside professional storm chaser Celton Henderson. This hands-on experience will allow Isaac to learn directly from experts in the field, deepening his understanding and fueling his dream of becoming a severe weather analyst dedicated to saving lives.

The funds raised will help cover our travel expenses for the two-week trip, ensuring Isaac can safely and effectively participate in this unique educational journey. Any remaining funds will be set aside for Isaac’s future college education, where he plans to study severe weather phenomena in hopes of improving early warning systems and shelters. Isaac’s goal is to use his knowledge and passion to help protect communities and make a real difference in the world.
