I am the Grandmother, Dina Juarez of Isaac Loretto and on January 11th he was involved in a head on collision.

Isaac was in the back seat of the car, asleep, when the head-on collision occurred and he suffered severe injuries. One of his friends Heidi in the collision as well tied her jacket to the large gash on his head to stop some of the bleeding before paramedics arrived. We are very thankful for Heidi being quick on her feet and jumping into action for Isaac. Applying pressure to stop his bleeding and for calling us quickly and 911 Her actions were life saving ❤️ we appreciate that and thank her for that.

He was driven by ambulance to Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto where he was being cared for, but had to be flown to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento due to the damage sustained to his pancreas and the need for a more specialist doctor.

When he was first admitted to the hospital they told us that he had suffered a skull fracture, A gash across his forehead,multiple spine fractures, nasal fracture inside and out,a concussion, 2 broken ribs, his lung was half collapsed, and fluid was collecting in his abdomen and around his pancreas.

He has undergone surgery to relieve some of the fluid that has been collecting around his pancreas and will be undergoing surgery on his back due to sustaining 5 fractured vertebrae from the collision.

We are so grateful to God’s grace that Isaac was responsive before he went for his first surgery and he is being cared for, but the driver did not have insurance and we need help in meeting these medical bills and whatever else Isaac is having need of due to this accident.
