On October 4th, Isaac McGovern was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. He was first rushed by ambulance to a hospital in Boise, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was quickly life-flighted to Salt Lake City for specialized care.
Isaac suffered multiple serious injuries, including broken collar bone, broken left elbow, broken left hand in 8 places, 3 broken bones in his right foot, broken right tibia, patella, fibula, broken left ankle, right humerus, broke both forearm bones in his left arm, as well as a torn acl, mcl, and pcl. He also had his left index finger amputated. Since the accident, Isaac has undergone several intensive surgeries and spent countless hours in the operating room. He will remain hospitalized for several more days and still has more surgeries to come.
The road ahead will be long and challenging. Isaac will likely need to use a wheelchair for the next few months and will require extensive rehabilitation to regain his strength and mobility. While his courage and determination are truly inspiring, the financial burden of this tragedy is overwhelming. The cost of the life-flight, transportation, multiple surgeries, and an extended hospital stay are significant.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and our community to help ease this burden so that Isaac can focus fully on healing. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to helping Isaac and his loved ones through this difficult journey.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support. Your compassion means the world to Isaac and his family as they navigate the long road to recovery.
